Within twenty four hours of my post the Obama administration promised to curtail some of the outrageous compensation packages of bailed-out companies. I am flattered that the president of the GSSA reads my blog, but I didn't expect satisfaction so soon.

Besides, how much satisfaction is it, really? The compensation packages were forty times higher than anybody could believe. Now they'll only get twenty. In that way, the bankers win and the administration looks good too. No doubt, all this was understood right from the beginning by the insiders. It's very easy pacifying and fooling the American peasant class.
