Maureen, It seems that instrumentalists hold up pretty well with age. Eliades Ochoa, the leading guitarist in "The Buena Vista Social Club" is an example. But vocalists don't hold up as well; their voices drop. Compare 35-year-old Judy Garland with the 15-year-old version; what a tragedy!
