Work hard. Play hard. The work hard part started at an early age on a dairy farm, supporting myself through college and following that with many over 40 hour weeks (and commuting) until I retired. The work hard part is past. Now.... It is "play hard" in these retirement years. Trying to get balance into my life. Using your chrysalis/butterfly example, this current "play hard" phase may be -- just a phase. Perhaps there is an unknown metamorphosis in my future. Just for the record...
