Making a left turn out of a grocery store or walking down the wedding aisle are not the same risk. One involves a commitment, the other is merely a momentary risk. The aisle walk reminds me of a recently read quote from Arthur Schopenhauer, "In our monogamous part of the world, to marry means to halve one's rights and double one's duties."
