Too bad this problem didn't occur before I gave my third camera to my daughter just a few months ago. You could have made a deal. Rather than a gift, perhaps some money may have changed hands. Just for the record, the camera was a Nikon Coolpix. It took great pictures -- until I found the "lost" Canon SD850. Timing is everything.
